Terms of Service

Last updated: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Talk 2 Tech website and IT support services. By booking a service, creating an account, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling remote or onsite support, subscribing to a managed IT plan, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or acting on behalf of an authorized business) and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Services

Talk 2 Tech provides remote and onsite technology support, including but not limited to computer and laptop repair, network setup, cybersecurity services, cloud and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace support, and managed IT services for homes and small businesses. Service availability varies by location and plan.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Back up important data before any service session; while we take care during all work, we are not responsible for data loss.
  • Provide accurate information about your devices, network, and the issue you're experiencing.
  • Ensure you have the legal right to grant us access to devices, accounts, and networks we service.
  • Provide a safe environment for onsite visits by our technicians.

4. Payment & Billing

Flat-rate and hourly services are billed as quoted prior to work beginning. Support plan subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically unless canceled. See our Pricing Plans page for current rates.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talk 2 Tech's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.

6. Termination

You may cancel a support plan subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment, abusive conduct, or violation of these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
